This building is called Bras House for its location in Braschaat, located near Antwerp. It is known as “a rock among the trees“, since its architect wrapped the house with stone slabs and, as you can see in the photo, it is in the middle of a forest.
The house has a pool inside and its glass walls offer its tenants fantastic panoramic views without obstacles.
This house was designed by the architect Tom Mahieu. He used simplistic design techniques and contemporary forms, such as fine and elegant lines, close connection and white surfaces.
Its interior is elegant, bright and minimalist. Its modern wood and marble furniture, white and pastel tones and contemporary art pieces are the elements that make this cube house a clear example of contemporary design.
This family home located in Ghent, is characterized by its windows, as they offer a wide range of views over the street and the city from the living room itself.
It was designed and created by the architects Mias and Vandenborre. It consists of four floors: a garage and three habitable floors. Its interior contains a combination of dark and light wood carpentry cabinets.
In addition, it has painted brick walls that give it an even more contemporary touch.
