Architect founder - José María de la Cuadra Osborne founded FRAME in 2018 The practice has completed a wide variety of commissions in Brussels and Spain, which include Public, Educational, Commercial and Residential buildings. It has also built up an expertise in securing important planning permissions. HIs work revolves around the notion that Architecture is a unique art form in which emotions and functionality come together in each and every project. Our firm explores the infinite relationships between art, architecture, place, space and site.Our projects develop through dialogue with our clients and collaborators, creating a bespoke response to each of our client's needs and expectations.
Federico Bruno
Architect
Architect - Federico Bruno is an experienced architect with international expertise in residential, commercial, and public projects. He holds a degree from the University of Buenos Aires and specializes in project management, sustainable design, and urban planning. Fluent in Spanish, French, and English, he is skilled in AutoCAD and other design tools. Registered with the Order of Architects of West Flanders, he has managed projects from design to execution across Belgium, Spain, and Argentina.
Carmela Basile
Interior Architect
Interior Architect - Carmela Basile Rognetta is an architect with expertise in residential renovation, office and Horeca interior design, execution files, and autonomous site supervision. She focuses on creating spatial solutions to enhance quality of life and work, with a growing interest in custom carpentry and sustainable materials.
She has experience in architecture firms specializing in renovation and construction projects, as well as in set design and costume creation for theater productions. Proficient in multiple design software, she speaks Italian, French, and English. Registered with architectural boards in Italy and Belgium, she has also participated in international architecture competitions.
Marine André
Architect
Architect who graduated from La Cambre-Horta (Brussels) in 2020 and has held an additional Master's degree in urban planning since 2021, Marine joined FRAME after significant experience in public projects. Attentive to detail, she is committed to bringing creativity and functionality to the private projects that are the hallmark of the office.
Anysia Surny
Architect
Architect - Anysia Surny, an independent architect based in Brussels, specializes in residential transformations, renovations, and extensions since 2008. She has expertise in project management, site supervision, and PEB certification.
Graduated in architecture in 2007, with additional training in real estate, energy performance, and safety coordination.
Proficient in AutoCAD, with basic skills in SketchUp and Photoshop. Speaks French (native), Dutch (C1), English, and Spanish (intermediate). Curious, flexible, and organized, with a passion for badminton, hiking, travel, and culture.
